If you’re looking for some new music join us on our latest podcast as we go through the albums that we added to Suite Grooves in May. There is an album celebrating the Small Pipes from Scotland, an album celebrating the 50 year anniversary of Miles Davis’ Bitches Brew, an album that melds West North African music with electronica, a couple of latin guitar virtuosos from Mexico, now residing in Ireland take us on a meta physical journey, an album made between Iceland and Belgium during an unbelievable storm, and another between the UK, US and Germany, and The Orb are back with another new album.

This month we have albums from Switzerland, Germany, West Sub-Saharan Africa and Mali via Texas, New York via Sydney, a Supergroup in Melbourne via the UK, a compilation of vintage sounds straddling The Netherlands and Italy via Acid Jazz, Boca 45 delivers the latest Funk n” Beats compilation and 2 compilations of Australian Hip Hop, one new and the other celebrating 25 years of Hydrofunk Records and it’s contribution to Australian music.

We have 10 outstanding albums featured on Suite Grooves this month, and we welcome a new co-host. Stu Connolly used to edit Sydney’s dance music bible, 3D Magazine and has been involved in the music industry for a very long time. He is single handedly keeping Australian music updated on Discogs, and he brings his experience and knowledge to the podcast and the station.
