The figure sets a new annual record for the platform, averaging out at 2 million items being added every week, with vinyl dominating in terms of format, followed by CD. The year’s highest value transaction saw a copy of The Velvet Underground & Nico’s landmark 1966 debut single, ‘All Tomorrow’s Parties’, sell for $30,000.
